I was a late bloomer in the field of artistry. This is because I have been switching from one medium to another. As a result, I have a whole collection of paintings, sculptures, pottery, among others. My husband suggested that I open an art space where I can store and invite people to see them.

I know that architecture is an art because it involves design and method. More than that, there is also a science to it that makes them stand out from the other mediums of art. As much as I want to be detailed as possible, I am lacking it. Good thing is that the project manager assigned to me was very patient and asked me questions that I can easily answer. More than that, she was willing to assist me in everything that I need. This includes essential documents and permits needed to make my project work. I felt safe with them because they showed expertise in the field and they projected that they know what they are doing. So, this made me not worry about a thing but work on my design and interiors. Which is what I really wanted.
The start of the project
I was there when they first visited the site. They examined the place like it was a crime scene. Every nook and cranny has been explored so they know how to maximise the space. I honestly never imagined that architect firms like this in Singapore are so meticulous. But, I really appreciated them being so hands-on with my briefly planned project. When they started, they would always update me on what they have finished. They would report problems that might concern and ask for advice when they are about to do something outside the plan because of unexpected problems. All in all, I loved their involvement in my project.
Conclusion
The output was better than I had expected. I cannot wait to move all my art pieces in this new playground of mine. They put a lot of space suited for all of my sculptures and paintings. They even suggested where I should put them to get the attention of my viewers. I cannot wait for the opening night!
